Easter Day

Easter day was so fun. Even though we have early church time (9:00 a.m.) we still had fun hunting for Easter eggs in the cool weather and checking out the baskets.

We went to church and I was so lucky to give the lesson on the First Easter! I love this lesson even though it brings tears to my eyes when I think about all Christ has done for me. It was a beautiful day with those wonderful 5-6 year old kids I get to teach!

After church, Shaylee and I went skiing with our cousins. It was 45 degrees up there and great snow. We have had some new snow this past week and it made for nice Spring skiing. Kayson bummed out on us and wouldn't go with us. Next Saturday is the last day of skiing for the year so we will all be going and enjoying the HUGE CROWD that will be there for the final day of 2008 skiing. I was sad to hear about a 16 yr. old girl that hit a tree and was killed at the ski resort yesterday. My prayers go out to her friends and family.

I am beat and hitting the bed early tonight. Hope you all had a great Easter Sunday!
